Hardy Signs reception redesign
I was also tasked with redesigning the reception of the building alongside the stairway. The reception is the first impression that customer’s get of the company when they enter the building, so I wanted to give them a lasting impression and showcase our branding and awards in a welcoming and comforting way.
Original reception –
New reception concept idea –
The concept went through multiple development stages with different ideas floating around to show to the Hardy Signs managing director. This concept was created on Adobe Illustrator, where I learnt how to use over college, university and my creative career.
New reception Photoshop visualisation –
This concept was created on Adobe Photoshop using real life textures and products to further help visualising it before spending money on products and materials.
New reception redesigned –
I personally chose all of the products and materials for the new reception, using effective budget management and liaising with the MD with what he wanted with my own creative inputs to help visualise it. The paint splashes around the doors I thought was an effective creative choice, as it invites customers and colleagues through to our different spaces, further elevating branding to customers and leaving a lasting impression, whilst showing them the design services in which we provide through the large format prints that we supply.
